So with the big Google incident yesterday, what we all knew would happen is exactly what happened. A flurry of extraneous messages to the main list and zero traffic on -discussion. All the stuff that isn’t supposed to be on the main list too. A bunch of “me toos” and literal discussion about the incident. Could the powers-that-be PLEASE reconsider the basic setup now that we are on a new host for the lists? Why is the main list not set such that the default reply-to: address is -discussion?
