Seems to have been mostly the 477 LATA in north Alabama (256 area code). Reports were data came back once you crossed mile marker 287 on I-65 which is the first part of the interstate which could see cell towers from Blount County (205 area code) ----- Original Message ----- From: Rusty Dekema To: outages@outages.org Cc: CBB - Jay Fuller Sent: Tuesday, August 04, 2015 8:39 PM Subject: Re: [outages] major (fiber? routing ? ) issues in south - tn, alabama, elsewhere? No Verizon OR AT&T Cell service in parts of North Alabama (Cullman, Florence) Isolated reports coming in from all over North Alabama. At least one WISP reports an outage in TN - backbone is AT&T Anonymous report from a friend who works at TVA tells me they have problems with all their MPLS connections.
