Cogent says it's a fiber cut: Customers located in or transiting the Los Angeles area may be experiencing packet loss or latency due to a fiber cut. The Cogent Network Operations Center is working with our field engineers and with our vendor to restore service. There is no estimated time to repair. The master case is HD6655601. Must be one heluva cut because I had to drop my peer to keep traffic on another provider.
