I can confirm this is also causing MMS issues. My ATT Galaxy S3 is unable to send or receive MMS messages. Network APN contains an MMS proxy and MMS address of mmsc.mobile.att.net and proxy.mobile.att.net Both fail to resolve 90% of the time. Confirmed on every ATT based mobile I have access to.
