I saw the same problems yesterday, Nagios complained for 1 hour 48 minutes between 12:15pm EDT and 2:03pm EDT that a site whose DNS is hosted by NetSol was down. The IP responded fine, but the hostname was having issues resolving. It wasn't a full outage, secondary DNS was responding when tested manually, and primary was responding sometimes, but often with large enough of a delay that Nagios gave up trying to resolve it. But not down enough for most resolvers to ask the secondary. Looks like it recovered about 22 minutes after you emailed the list. Their site appears to be down and name resolution either doesn't work or is reporting incorrect addresses. http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/networksolutions.com Thomas "TJ" Murphy Senior Systems Engineer 360IT PARTNERS 757.499.6761 757.499.1571 Fax 855.360IT.01 Toll Free thomas@360itpartners.com<mailto:thomas@360itpartners.com> [Description: Description: Description: 360IT][http://ita-portal.cis.fiu.edu/docs/KCA-Logo.png][sboy_logoRGB][News] Please note: All support requests not related to this correspondence should be sent to support@360itpartners.com<mailto:support@360itpartners.com> _______________________________________________ Outages mailing list Outages@outages.org https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/outages
