We're getting conflicting stories, it seems. The responses from their support indicated a DDoS, while in this NYT article, http://www.nytimes.com/2015/10/16/technology/ultradns-server-problem-pulls-d..., their CIO is saying it was a server error. This outage comes a day after this: https://www.neustar.biz/blog/neustar-recognized-as-top-5-ddos-protection-ven... I'm skeptical about the "server issue". I saw the same thing with Netflix (IPv6 side).
signup.netflix.com (east and west) were inaccessible starting at 3:52 pm (U.S. Central), and www.latency.prodaa.netflix.com, www.netflix.com (east and west) at 3:57 pm, but all came back up at ~4:40 pm. But I see both signup.netflix.com down again now.

We're using Ultradns here, getting reports of our sites not resolving.
