Google's public DNS does not resolve .us and .biz TLDs (not even the NS records of it) in many european countries. Reports are from at least Switzerland, Austria, Italy and Slovenia, likely Germany as well.
This is from the Public DNS instance in Milan, Italy, .us and .biz TLD are dead:
