Level 3 had a routing loop problem in San francisco on 8/8-8/9. We had issues with Comcast customers being able to access some websites. Did anyone see anything similar ?
Yes. Started at 3:36am Pacific, and ended at 4:12am. Looks like level 3 were advertising their US routes out of London, with latency from non-L3 in San Francisco to multiple Level 3 around 200ms and near 100% packet loss. 2 10gigabitethernet1-1.core1.sjc2.he.net (72.52.81.178) 10.484 ms 13.600 ms 4.616 ms 3 10gigabitethernet1-3.core1.nyc4.he.net (72.52.92.26) 90.816 ms 86.060 ms 79.697 ms 4 10gigabitethernet1-2.core1.lon1.he.net (72.52.92.78) 160.023 ms 149.021 ms 157.903 ms 5 * * * 6 * * * 7 * * * Scott.
