Latest update we received at 05:09 AM PST:
Global Marine Systems should have pilots join a ship at 16:00 PST today (Thursday, Nov. 26th) and depart from Port Angeles to the breakage area to assess the cable and conditions. If conditions permit, repairs will commence, though there are concerns that due to a spring tide and strong current, tugs may be needed. If so, that will delay things until Monday, as tugs are not currently available and won't be until Monday due to the Thanksgiving weekend.
