[outages] Any big NYC fiber outages?

Late Friday afternoon we had a few circuits heading into the city all go down around 3pm on Friday. Carrier is telling us a manhole fire destroyed a large fiber cable (400+ strand) between 10th-11th street effecting several carriers. This list has been usually quiet so I am suspicious.
