I've received reports from multiple endusers that can't "access the internet" with their Huawei mobile phones when connecting to a wireless network. It seems Google had problems with their 8.8.8.8 service earlier as well caused by all the people trying to resolve facebook.com etc. I think that this might be a problem for Android gear doing connectivity tests over 8.8.8.8 after connecting to a new wireless network. Can anyone corroborate this? Best Regards Sebastian -- GPG Key: 0x58A2D94A93A0B9CE (F4F6 B1A3 866B 26E9 450A 9D82 58A2 D94A 93A0 B9CE) 'Are you Death?' ... IT'S THE SCYTHE, ISN'T IT?
