To follow up, I have a Century-Link / Savvis engineer on the phone stating that the route flap is related to an emergency code update to their border routers related to last nights similar outage. Notifications would've been fantastic.

Multi-homed AS209 customer here. Century-Link just flapped 400,000 prefixes to us. This is the second time in as many days.

I was seeing some latency earlier but I do not see it. Still something seems to be bit wrong though. I am at near Washington dc area. I am on hold with century link for over 1 hour. Is there anything going on?
