Yes, having a lot of packet loss to a Salt Lake City HSIP circuit I have with them.. No problem with my Denver HSIP circuit though. I have a ticket open with them and the tech was not aware of an outage. On 7/19/12 6:23 AM, "Steve Dispensa" <dispensa@phonefactor.com> wrote:

Just happened again, and we've been seeing crazy packet loss through slc on a L3 route from Kansas City to San Francisco as well. Something has been broken in SLC since at least 8:50 AM Central. -sd

I am not sure if it is related to your packet loss, but we received word that L3 has a fiber mess in Tucson, AZ where a splice case and fiber were stolen around 1:20 PST. No ETR on that yet. Possible congestion on remaining routes?

Update I got from Level3.. Summary A link is at 100% utilization between Salt Lake City, UT and Denver, CO, which is affecting IP traffic. Event Case ID: 5781942 Location: Between Salt Lake City, UT to Denver, CO Impacted For: 3 hours 48 minutes ETR: Unknown Bridge: IP *** CASCADED EXTERNAL NOTES 19-Jul-2012 18:46:28 GMT saldanam From CASE: 5781942 - Event The IP NOC continues to isolate and investigate this issue to determine the root cause with no new information available.
