Fiber Cut in California?
Is anyone aware of a fiber cut in CA this morning affecting routes to PHX & DFW? I've seen a lot of complaints from customers and some updates from IO Datacenter out in Scottsdale mentioning a fiber cut. Thanks, Ryan G.
Zayo is telling me they have a major fiber cut between LAX and DFW. We are being impacted by this on their ELAN/Emesh and IP internet Transit product. Don’t know if any other provide is effected. Zayo's NOC is reporting that there is a fiber cut in Roll, AZ. The fiber belongs to a third-party vendor of theirs who is dispatching splicing crews to repair. Master ticket# is 703932. On Wed, 13 May 2015, Ryan Gelobter via Outages wrote:

The circuit has been moved, but they’re seeing low light levels on their new pair so testing is still ongoing. They might need to sit on the temporary pair until the cut feed is fixed. No ETR.
