
Not able to ping or query via dig to pdns01.domaincontrol.com.... pdns02 is responding though. I'm getting 216.69.185.50 as the ip for pdns01 Chris

Then, it is not a real outage: the point of having several DNS servers per zone is to allow one server to go down, without service interruption. Which domain, by the way (most messages on this mailing list are very poor on details)?
