Anyone happen to have any updates or details on this? Our main office is in SoHo and we are still dark as of this morning.
I have only partial info. There were multiple fiber carriers affected. We (ISPnet) had several circuits affected associated with two different carriers. Our only remaining problem is on an XO circuit carried on CenturyLink fiber. Early this morning, XO said that CenturyLink was on-site actively splcing an 864-count bundle and expected to be done by 1:30 PM Eastern. Unfortunately, it wasn't clear if it was the "last bundle" that needed splicing. -- Bob Tinkelman <bob@tink.com> ISPnet, Inc. http://www.ispnet.net +1 (718) 464-4747 office +1 (800) 806-NETS toll free

This is our update from XO/Verizon: “The update remains the same. The lec is working on the 4th cable now, which has an ettr of 3pm est. They still have the 5th and 6th cable to work on after that, so no ETTR for full restoration yet.” Thanks, From: Outages [mailto:outages-bounces@outages.org] On Behalf Of Barry McCall via Outages Sent: Monday, June 11, 2018 10:21 AM To: outages@outages.org Subject: Re: [outages] New York City Fiber Cut due to Fire WARNING: Outside Sender Anyone happen to have any updates or details on this?
