CenturyLink (legacy Savvis) ISP

Having issues with Internet access through CenturyLink (legacy Savvis) at their Santa Clara 9 data center. Calling their NOC, I get an "all circuits are busy" message, so I figure it's not just us.

We saw issues out of their OC2 data center, as well. BGP connections to AS 3561 stayed up, but were getting 100% packet loss. While things are back up, we're seeing quite a bit of latency on the link. On 12/08/2016 11:07 AM, Crist Clark via Outages wrote:

I'm also seeing that the toll free number doesn't ring (888-638-6771). The number 314-628-7758 answers but informs me that the number will soon be disconnected and I should use the portal to open cases and check on status. But it won't let me log in, and throws some strange authentication errors. trey

Same thing. BGP sessions stayed up, although they're just sending us a default route. Looks like mostly back, but not everything. For example, can't access Box.com or Webex. They've had a message about network issues in Tokyo on their service portal today. Don't know if that is related in anyway or not. Nothing about this yet. Just received the following from CenturyLink: "CenturyLink has experienced an issue with one of our core routers based on the East coast. This has caused connectivity issues across multiple regions. Due to this event you may have experienced loss of connectivity or increased latency. At this time we are seeing stability throughout our network and are continuing to work ensure stability throughout our core network." - Sean
