Another power outage today at Hurricane?
Anyone know if there was yet another power outage today at Hurricane Electric Fremont 2? Every piece of equipment I have there was without power for about 3 or 4 minutes. Cheers, Stef

Confirmed. Hurricane Electric's Fremont 2 data center lost power. This is the second time 2 months. I haven't been able to get any more information from them about either power outage. Nobody seems to know anything, sales refers to customer support, and vice versa. File a ticket: ticket closed with "There was a power outage". What an unprofessional operation... Stef
A peer of mine says that some equipment of theirs at Fremont 2 lost power as well, so you're not alone. Yeah, I'm sure that $40 credit Hurricane will drop in your lap will more than make up for the thousands of dollars in lost business. SLAs are useless. Yep, SLA's are useless. SLA story time: I got a $120 credit last month when the local loop for a SAVVIS circuit was accidentally canceled by AT&T and it took them a day to reconnect everything. ~Seth
