Outgoing calls to VZ Phone customers failing in SE region.

Hello, We are experiencing an issue where outgoing calls reach VZ customers, but only have an echo of themselves on the line, unable to hear the other. The VZ customer can hear them. Logs on the phone systems show no issues, and nothing that would suggest our equipment is at fault. Does anyone know of an outage ongoing that may be at fault? -- Christopher Smalling Network Operations

Outgoing from what carrier? On Thu, Dec 13, 2018, 4:17 PM Christopher Smalling via Outages < outages@outages.org wrote:

This is through a SIP trunk on our softswitch, and out through CenturyLink. As Pete stated, it's in the opposite direction from his issues. On Thu, Dec 13, 2018 at 3:19 PM Ross Tajvar <ross@tajvar.io> wrote:

All, After calling CenturyLink again, we found it to be a known issue the first tech was unaware of. Thank you all for your input. On Thu, Dec 13, 2018 at 3:42 PM Christopher Smalling < christopher.smalling@neonova.net> wrote:

We started receiving complaints about one way/ no audio late yesterday afternoon- and it had appeared to resolve over night, but I am starting to get calls again (NW Ohio/ 9am EST) that outbound/inbound calls from Embark/Level 3 are having audio issues - no consistently, just dropped audio here and there . Anyone still experiencing this? We are still showing issues. CL advised their engineering team is involved with ATT as ATT is reporting all trunks up. Our customers are still having issues. On Fri, Dec 14, 2018 at 9:02 AM Laura Ulrick via Outages < outages@outages.org> wrote:

I am seeing intermittent voice termination problems (callers hit with operator intercept) with people dial from Verizon (in NYC Area) to some of my phone numbers homed on Level3/ Century Link. My issue is in the opposite direction. Not sure if it's related. I've had no complaints about what you mentioned below. Pete Rohrman On 12/13/18 4:14 PM, Christopher Smalling via Outages wrote:
