Seeing a lot of reports on Twitter, FB and Reddit. My personal phone is out as well. Showing no service at all. Interestingly enough, my Ziply Fiber went down at the same time as well but came up about 5 minutes later.

Working fine in Long Beach California. I am on a business plan but not sure if that would make a difference On Mon, Feb 13, 2023 at 20:06 Benjamin Monjay via Outages < outages@outages.org> wrote:

Yes. It is down nationwide for phone calls, SMS and data. People seem to be reporting full bars but all calls and texts will fail. TMo customer service is aware and have not given a ETA. Their internal ticket number for the outage is INC73057017. This is also impacting things like eSIM activations and account changes. Furthermore calls to customer service are failing. I'm in Seattle, Tmobile services keep coming and going, and at one point it rolled me over to TMobile Edge 2G. Now I have no service whatsoever, having to use my home internet on a different ISP. Tmo hasn't acknowledged they are down hard at all. Curious what is going on. On Mon, Feb 13, 2023, 8:07 PM Benjamin Monjay via Outages < outages@outages.org> wrote:

I'm not one to refer to Downdetector often, but in this case it's interesting that pretty much every mobile carrier in the US took a hit at the same time. However, the same is true for Apple support, Google, Samsung, American Express, and a handful of others. Feels sorta cloud-ish. There's an ongoing active shooter event on campus at Michigan State University. The start of the spike on the down detector graphs could correspond to that. Seems it might be possible that the chatter surrounding this event may be related. De

It's more looking like an edge router, or core switch failed from all the research I have done so far. Checked AWS - UP Checked Azure - UP Checked Zayo - UP Checked Other Backhauls - UP If it was chatter, most likely would only have taken down the network in that area. This was a multi state outage. Or it could be human error and someone deleted the BGP Routes, or someone went "Oh look a loose network cable that isn't plugged into anything *click into the same switch as it's already plugged into*" 🙄 Either way, it appears to be "Stable" as of now, haven't seen a bounce since about 45 minutes ago. T-Mobile has acknowledged the outage and attributed it to a fiber cut: https://twitter.com/NevilleRay/status/1625355891301285888 Neville twitter.com

Hi, Second that. My wife's phone is showing "SOS" (i.e., no cellular connection), while my phone is connected to T-Mo, but no incoming or outgoing calls, or internet. Thanks, Sabri ----- On Feb 13, 2023, at 8:13 PM, outages <outages@outages.org> wrote:

Team - I see an outage as well. Any chance this is related to the balloons that have been shot down/spotted?

I have a phone on Tello (MVNO utilizing T-Mobile) and it seems to be working here in southeast Tennessee just outside Chattanooga. Voice and text are fine. Not sure if being on Tello makes it any different than T-Mobile native or not.

T-Mobile voice and text, in and out (to/from Google Voice) work for me in Huntsville, AL. -- Chris Adams <cma@cmadams.net>

No observed problem placing/receiving calls in Murphy, NC (Google Fi — T-Mobile MVNO).

My phone went to EDGE 2G now. On Mon, Feb 13, 2023, 8:29 PM Gary Gapinski via Outages <outages@outages.org> wrote:
