Anyone else notice that proof points "PPOPS.NET" is using a loopback. Can't send them email and their clients can't email outside because * ppops.net resolves to 127.0.0.1

I live behind the PP abomination, and I don't think I'm seeing any issues with inbound mail. I'm not currently in a position to test outbound properly. I do see that ppops.net resolving to localhost. But if I look up MX records for us, I don't get ppops.net, I get mxa-00165801.gslb.pphosted.com, and that has a routable address. De

Proofpoint had a DNS issue today: https://proofpoint.my.site.com/community/s/proofpoint-current-incidents
On 14-July-2025 at 12:43 UTC, Proofpoint began experiencing a Production Incident impacting customer using M365 and DNSSEC-Compliant Customers Due to DNSSEC Bogus Error on pphosted . com . Without DNSSEC working properly, our customers may be tricked into routing traffic to fake or malicious websites – ensuring that DNSSEC is online is vital to authenticating sites as safe.

Perhaps related to this https://proofpoint.my.site.com/community/s/article/Proofpoint-Service-Incide... But has since been resolved. This was related to customer *.pphosted.com MX records not resolving this morning. I'm not familiar with ppops.net specifically. On 7/14/25 13:29, bannereddivpool via Outages wrote:
