AWS confirmed issues on chat - still not sure what. We've now lost eu-west-1a also. Only 1c is currently alive.

Have there been any updates or further information on this? I'm in Houston and my phone works fine, but my wife's is a paperweight. No data, voice, or SMS. Swapping her SIM card to my phone yields the same results, so it seems to be random as to who is affected.
