GNI (Fusionstorm) / 365 Main SF outage?
Anyone have stuff at 365main on GNI/Fusionstorm's transit that had a 20+ minute outage in the last hour? (Because we experienced it. It seemed like a routing issue as parts of the net came back up at different times, with Comcast connections in SF being the last to come up.
I've got a "shadow" line from GNI inside 365 Main, I never lost any BGP peering. My graphs do show that there was a 5 minute period where there wasn't any traffic between 5:40pm and 5:45pm. -wil On May 5, 2011, at 6:03 PM, Rusty Hodge wrote:

Fusionstorm just sent out this update: ``Update#1: Currently Network is up, but customers are experiencing high latency issues and Packet loss .Engineers have determined failure of Router Core-1, it is currently being reloaded expected back up at 6:42PM -6:45PM.`` It does indeed seem like they did this, as around that time we lost all connectivity for a while, and now everything is back up as far as I can tell.
