Last night (5/19/2011) we saw an issue with our VPLS connection between two of our buildings. The outage lasted roughly 15 minutes (measured by OSPF states). Reliance states the cause was a broadcast storm. We also experienced an issue 3-4 months back where the same root-cause was given. Did anyone else see issues in the area? Does anyone have further information on what is causing these storms? - Chris

Reliance master ticket number is 106666. At least 4 customers are impacted by this issue. I was on hold for 15 minutes and finally get a NOC engineer on the line 30 seconds after connectivity is resotred.
