fyi: *** CASCADED EXTERNAL NOTES 23-Aug-2016 10:54:43 GMT From CASE: 11343257 - Event Event Conclusion Summary: Outage Start: August 23, 2016 07:50 GMT Outage Stop: August 23, 2016 09:19 GMT Root Cause: Corrupted configuration during a network optimization effort. Fix Action: Changes were reverted back to restore services. Summary: During a network optimization effort, a corrupted configuration was introduced between select network devices, which impacted customer services. The change to these core network to edge device paths was reverted to resolve service impacts. If additional issues are experienced, please contact the Level 3 Technical Service Center at 1-877-4LEVEL3. This service impact has concluded; however, there may be additional analysis and discovery that occurs as the incident is reviewed by NOC management. Any available updates will be relayed upon event ticket closure.
