There has been an ongoing issue today that started at around 12:30PM PST affecting many users of GPS timing data. Symptoms include still seeing several SATs but inability to get a FIX. The Coast Guard needs more data to debug, specifically what SATS you have in view when you experience the issue. You can email your data here; please be as specific as possible. Looks like there are two birds down as unreliable in one plane as of the last week in October. Chris On Nov 5, 2009, at 11:59 AM, Clayton Zekelman wrote:

I did not see any issues Wednesday - From SD to east to the coast, however I did notice that we had 3 unhealthy birds at the same time (did not note which ones at the time). The only time I have had alarms at multiple sites was during solar flares such as 12/6/2006, and then things still stayed accurate during holdover. A good source to check is it me or the sky is from Cornell U- http://gps.ece.cornell.edu/scintplot.html -Keith -----Original Message----- From: outages-bounces@outages.org [mailto:outages-bounces@outages.org] On Behalf Of Plexicomm Admin Sent: Wednesday, November 04, 2009 7:17 PM To: outages@outages.org Subject: [outages] GPS Timing Issues We're seeing GPS timing issues on *some* GPS receivers on our network.
