netflix streaming, browsing down for the last 30 minutes, now DVD shipping too

At first I was getting connection resets. 18 minutes ago: "We’re sorry, the Netflix website and the ability to instantly watch movies are both temporarily unavailable." I don't have a quote but it went on to stress DVD shipping operations were still up and running. Now the shipping is down as well: "We are sorry, the Netflix website and our DVD shipping operations are temporarily down. Our engineers are working hard to bring the site and shipping operations back up as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and, again, we apologize for the inconvenience. If you need further assistance, please call us at 1-877-445-6064." Cheers, Dave Hart

Down here too, since at least 7:25 EDT (UTC-4). -Rusty On Tue, Mar 22, 2011 at 9:23 PM, Dave Hart <davehart@gmail.com> wrote:

Thanks for the confirmation and report it started hours earlier. They've changed the error message to a third variant now, not mentioning the DVD shipping at all (which is what I would have expected from the beginning, really): "We are sorry, the Netflix website and the ability to instantly watch movies are both temporarily unavailable. Our engineers are working hard to bring the site and ability to watch instantly back up as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and, again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you need further assistance, please call us at 1-877-445-6064." It sounds global, but I note I'm coming from a Clearwire 4G connection near Seattle (the IPv4 address of clear.davehart.net). Works fine via Comcast in Portland, OR. I was already logged in, though, since I never log my laptop out manually. On Tue, Mar 22, 2011 at 8:52 PM, Nick Guy <nickguy@noanet.net> wrote:
