
It appears that Hughesnet (The satellite internet provider) is also down since around 7:09pm. Unsure if this is related to the ongoing XO outage.

I would normally expect to have heard of such an event, and I haven't. Downdetector had a peak of problem reports through about 11pm 1/1, tailing off to normal base noise around 0300.
