You might try being a little more specific and include something to support the statement :) That statement sounds like something an end user would say when they dont know what is happening.

On one ISP you can ping some sites that you cannot ping on the other and vice versa. Toute connaissance est une réponse à une question On 14/10/2009, at 12:50, Larry Brower <larry-lists@maxqe.com> wrote:

I just got that from one of the ISPs in Fiji. ---- This is to inform you that Fiji International Telecommunications Limited (FINTEL) has issued a public notice advising its customers that a segment of the Southern Cross Cable is under technical maintenance until 2300UTC 14th October, 2009. They have also advised that this timeline may change due to circumstances beyond their control (e.g. weather). During this time FINTEL has advised that there should be minimum disruptions to all Fiji traffic bound for this segment however they have also stated that during this time, the Southern Cross Cable Network will be considered in a hazardous state. --- Franck Martin http://www.avonsys.com/ twitter: FranckMartin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Larry Brower" <larry-lists@maxqe.com> To: "Franck Martin" <franck@avonsys.com> Cc: outages@outages.org Sent: Wednesday, 14 October, 2009 1:08:06 PM GMT +12:00 Fiji Subject: Re: [outages] routing is all messed up in Fiji Franck Martin wrote:
