Verizon FIOS outage in DC / Northern VA
Has been out most of an hour across the region, intermittent service at best. Numourous complaints on Twitter but seemingly Verizon refuses to acknowledge issue. KP

Experiencing this as well. Phone support on-hold times are >1 hour as well.

I've seen reports that changing over to third-party DNS servers remedies for people in some areas but not others. I've had no issues all day in Alexandria, not using Verizon's router or DNS servers though.
