Yes, our external monitoring has noticed quite a few issues with Ultradns having timeout issues today. They clear up within a minute, but I was just going to open a ticket with Ultra. We're seeing things like: (Snippet) Web Ops Email, High response times recorded for crm.xxx [udns1.ultradns.net], protocol DNS advanced, error Check timed out, time 07/11/2012 12:03:33, location Los Angeles, CA Web Ops Email, High response times recorded for crm.xxx [udns2.ultradns.net], protocol DNS advanced, error Check timed out, time 07/11/2012 11:23:05, location Los Angeles, CA Web Ops Email, Connection problems detected with crm.xxx [udns2.ultradns.net], protocol DNS advanced, error connection timed out, time 07/11/2012 11:51:04, location New York, NY, And note, its nodes udns1 and udns2, and from Both coasts. UltraDNS just sent an e-mail to customers that they are under a DDoS that took down their Hong Kong node. "We are proactively defending the attack on our network and working with our upstream telecommunications providers to further mitigate the traffic originating from their networks."
