Is there anyone currently experiencing latency to XO communications? Pandora Steaming Down

Several prefixes from Swift were withdrawn around 0810 UTC and are not anounced since. Any idea? Examples: 204.8.32.0/24 (swiftco.net nameservers) 204.13.164.0/24 (Web site of Tails + Riseup)

Level3 issue in Dallas

Starting at approx 06:00 UTC we had a strange issue with TCP/UDP traffic dying on Level3 in Dallas, although ICMP looked clean. For now we've stopped sending traffic to Level3 in Dallas. Anyone else seeing similar issues? -mark

VZW Outage in Northern Michigan

Reported to me by subscribers in the area and confirmed by the emergency communication below, Verizon 1x, 3G, and LTE services are unavailable since ~10 hours ago in Keweenaw County and part or all of Houghton County, Michigan. Handsets and other devices display "No Service" in the affected areas. To the best of my knowledge, VZW has not released an ETR. --- 9-1-1 CELL PHONE OUTAGE EMERGENCY THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS TRANSMITTED AT THE REQUEST OF THE HOUGHTON COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGER. A SEVERED FIBER OPTIC CABLE BY BUMBLETOWN ROAD HAS RESULTED IN THE LOSS OF VERIZON AND FRONTIER CELL PHONE SERVICES THIS EVENING IN HOUGHTON AND KEWEENAW COUNTIES. IF RESIDENTS HAVE AN EMERGENCY THEY ARE INSTRUCTED TO CALL 9-1-1 FROM A LANDLINE TELEPHONE. RESIDENTS CAN ALSO CALL THE HOUGHTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE WITH AN EMERGENCY AT 906-482-0055 OR 906-482-4411. THE MICHIGAN PUBLIC SAFETY SAYS THAT VERIZON AND FRONTIER ARE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND ARE WORKING TO RESTORE CELL PHONE SERVICE.
