Having issues with Internet access through CenturyLink (legacy Savvis) at
their Santa Clara 9 data center. Calling their NOC, I get an "all circuits
are busy" message, so I figure it's not just us.
just sharing with the list in case theres anyone else experiencing issues
we have a customer in jersey city whos on comcast HFC and been affected by
substantial service degradation going on 9 days now and we have received
official communication from a couple folks in comcast engineering /
management who have confirmed there is a issue with the local area node
not quite a large national outage but its a very dense area and im not sure
if this node also feeds other cities adjacent
symptoms of being affected are heavy packet loss
if you believe you are affected feel free to ping offline

We're being told by a regional wireless carrier in the U.S. midwest that
there is a call termination with some wireless carriers due to a Windstream
fiber maintenance issue overnight.
Anyone have more details on that?

Identified - We continue to mitigate a network incident that is currently
isolated to the East Coast of the US. We will provide additional updates
here.

Investigating - We are observing increased rates of packet loss in the NS1
network. The issue is being mitigated by engineers and we will post further
updates here as soon as we have them.
