Yup, just seen our IP transit ports in THN go physically down. Last time this happened, ISTR it was a problem with the fibre feeding the ASR 9000 nV satellite exetender things that they use for aggregating 1G services. Yes, we've been seeing as high as 30% loss in Newark / L3. Level3 Network Issues ?

Anyone having Level3 Network Issues in the California/San Diego area? I am seeing packet loss from NYC area to San Diego via Level3. I am not seeing the same packet loss in the opposite direction.

We're seeing a lot of mail deferred from Yahoo in the last 30 minutes. No other domains appear to be affected. Anyone else seeing this impact? Josiah

Appears resolved. Circuits were restored during the troubleshooting. This is a permanent fix. We will proceed to gather RFO details and provide them within 3 business days. Please note that if your service is a protected service, you should not experience any issues as your service is running on a protected path.
